Quicksilver Powersports Lubricants is joining the brigade of supporting sponsors for the 2017 MotoAmerica Series for the first time.
In addition to its sponsorship, Quicksilver Powersports Lubricants will also be a part of the MotoAmerica Safety Council, as a service provider in the MotoAmerica paddock and will participate at the events with trackside consumer displays.
The lubricant company also sponsors the Quicksilver Latus Motors Kawasaki ZX-10R ridden by Bobby Fong in the MotoAmerica Series.
“This is our inaugural year of working directly with MotoAmerica and we’re excited about telling our very unique story as the season unfolds,” said Eric Reilley, product marketing manager of Quicksilver Powersports Lubricants. “As the original equipment parts and lubricant division of Mercury Marine – the world’s largest manufacturer of recreational and commercial marine engines – Quicksilver’s expertise in formulating oils and designing uncompromising products translates well into the motorcycle industry, and especially into motorcycle racing. We’re not here simply to sponsor races; we’re here to learn, grow, support and share our nearly 70 years of American experience with this industry.”
“Quicksilver is our newest partner and it’s nice to have them on board as part of our sponsorship package for 2017,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “They are in the motorsports business and they take this very seriously. We know that Quicksilver is using MotoAmerica as a way of developing new products in a competitive environment. MotoAmerica is all about competition so it’s the perfect fit for both of us.”
Quicksilver, a brand of Mercury Marine and the Brunswick Corporation, has been producing premium engine care products since 1950.
